Staff Accountant II

Position will be located in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Administer all facets of monthly close, budget, audit, prepare financials at year-end. Oversee clients as a project lead

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Two year prior experience preferred

Tax Supervisor

The Tax Supervisor reports directly to the Senior Tax Manager. The Tax Supervisor is expected to manage existing client relationships, ensure appropriate and efficient staffing for the existing client base, and build new client relationships through networking, referrals, and targeted marketing efforts. Assists Senior Tax Manager with budget and cost controls, analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance. Works with small business clients to improve underlying financial reporting practices and to prepare financial statements.

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA or EA required.

  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, and must be current with regulations and compliance issues. 

Accounting Assistant

Reports to Assistant Controller. Performs varied and increasingly responsible clerical work involved in keeping and reviewing financial records and processing documents involving financial transactions

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have either Associate Degree in Accounting or at least 1 year experience keeping fiscal records.

Compliance Officer

The Audit Compliance Officer is responsible for the timely execution of risk-based audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects. Sometimes working with an Audit Assistant or independently, the role of Audit Compliance Officer will work directly with the Audit Compliance Manager and external financial departments. The work of an Audit Compliance Officer ultimately helps outside agencies fulfill their obligations to the regulations as delineated in that agencies contract.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field and 2-4 years of experience.

Fiscal Specialist

The Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Administration, Bureau of Financial Management and Budgets is seeking a Fiscal Specialist who will work within the Central Processing Unit (CPU) under the supervision of the Central Processing Unit Supervisor and is responsible for the processing of all different types of DHS invoices and travel vouchers, along with flight arrangements and Hotel Direct Billing. Furthermore, the Specialist will serve as a backup for the various payrolls the CPU Supervisor processes.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Accounting

Staff Accountant

Administer all facets of payroll, accounts payable/receivable, process purchase orders, daily deposits and cash reports, journal entries and accounts reconciliations.

Mental Health Specialist

 Responsible for monitoring assigned Mental Health Programs and providing technical assistance to provider agencies as needed. Act as liaison between agencies and State/County Administrations. Participate in special projects and assist consumer advocacy groups in improving the quality of the mental health system. Participate in assisting the MH system in moving toward a recovery based model.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in related field, and two years previous experience with MH/MR consumers. Must have strong organizational skills and strong computer skills. Must be prompt and very honest. Must have overall knowledge of MH system

Bookkeeper
