Budget Analyst

Donnelly-Boland is in search of a Budget and Finance Analyst to work with our client (Allegheny County DHS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analytics in the budgeting process across all offices and programs within the Department of Human Services of Allegheny County (DHS). 

  • Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in finance related field such as Accounting, Finance or Economics. Previous experience in nonprofit finance preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Budgeting: 3 years (preferred)

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's

Controller

The Controller is expected to manage existing client relationships, ensure appropriate and efficient staffing of external clients and build new client relationships through networking, referrals and target marketing efforts. Directs budget and cost controls, analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance, and acts as liaison between senior management and assistant controllers.

  • Experience:

    • Accounting: 5 years

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business

    • CPA License required

Tax Supervisor

The Tax Supervisor reports directly to the Senior Tax Manager. The Tax Supervisor is expected to manage existing client relationships, ensure appropriate and efficient staffing for the existing client base and build new client relationships through networking, referrals and targeted marketing efforts. Assists Senior Tax Manager with budget and cost controls, analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance. Works with small business clients to improve underlying financial reporting practices and to prepare financial statements and tax returns. Supervises tax staff and reviews business and individual tax returns

  • Experience:

    • 5-8 years relevant experience

  • Education:

    • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting 

    • CPA License required

Administrative Clerk - Typist

Allegheny County Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) Typist is responsible for computer operation, answering phones, generating electronic correspondence, and uploading and maintaining records in an electronic filing system. This position is responsible for operating in the Pelican system to assure proper flow of information to support the child care subsidy and provider departments.

  • Experience:

    • 2 years of personnel, finance, business or human resources applications

  • Education:

    • High School Diploma

    • Associates in Business or Public Administration preferred
