Fay K. Boland, CPA
Fay Boland, Chief Executive Officer and President of
Donnelly-Boland and Associates (DBA), has more than 30 years of nonprofit and
government accounting experience. Fay received a B.S. degree in Accounting from
Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an M.S. degree in Taxation from Robert
Morris College.
Prior to establishing DBA in 1992, Fay worked as a consultant with Great
Lakes Behavioral Institute. From 1980 through May 1991, she held positions of
increasing responsibility, culminating in the position of Assistant Deputy in
the Accounting Division within the Allegheny County Controllers Office. The
Controllers Office budgeted and controlled annual expenditures in excess of $500
million each year for the second largest county in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.
She has vast experience in starting up new programs and worked with numerous
agencies to become the payment agent for various fund sources. Fay is also the
elected Tax Collector for the School District and Borough of Brentwood, and a
member of Government Finance Officers Association.

Kevin P. Boland, CPA
Kevin Boland serves as Executive Vice President at
Donnelly-Boland and Associates and has more than 28 years of nonprofit and
government accounting experience. Kevin earned a B.S. degree in
Accounting/Economics from St. Vincent College, and an M.S. degree in Nonprofit
Management from Robert Morris University.
As a partner with the international accounting and consulting firm, KPMG LLP,
Kevin was responsible for providing a variety of professional services to
numerous government and nonprofit agencies. He chose assignments that would
enhance his skills in evaluating, managing, and developing professional talent –
in particular professionals who would serve public sector and health care
organizations.
Kevin is a talented manager of people and resources, seeking and providing
the firm’s clients with the professional and managerial talent they need and
value. Kevin is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ryan J. Babiak
Ryan Babiak is an Assistant Controller with our firm and
Branch Manager at our Brentwood office. He provides a variety of services to
Donnelly-Boland and Associates’ (DBA) clients, holds a B.A. degree in Accounting
and Finance from Duquesne University, and is a certified QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor.
Ryan earned the confidence of management by accepting and fulfilling
responsibilities for numerous accounting functions at DBA. As a result, Ryan
developed proficiency with numerous software applications. He also performs
accounting functions for several outsourcing clients, as well as assignments for
transition management clients.
Before joining DBA, Ryan was a financial analyst for E*Trade Financial, where
he performed various duties, including accounting, website interaction with
clients, loan review and management tasks.

Bobbe Grandey
Bobbe Grandey, the MIS Director for Donnelly-Boland and
Associates, is an IT professional with more than 35 years in the field. She
received a B.S. degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Secondary Education from
Goucher College in Towson, Maryland.
Bobbe has extensive experience in hardware, software, and IT services
procurement, file management procedures, facilities management, disaster
recovery, and training users with varying degrees of capabilities. In addition,
she has a working knowledge of IT security procedures, database design and
maintenance, PBX phone systems, LANs, WANs, and premises wiring. Her strengths
are expressed in her interpersonal skills.
Bobbe’s former employers include World Bank, Online Systems, Mellon Bank and
the YWCA of Pittsburgh. Additionally she spent four years as a math teacher in
Fairfax, Virginia, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bobbe also spent two years on
a grant at Carnegie Mellon University’s National Science Foundation.

Richard C. Healy
Richard
Healy, an experienced Senior Consultant, brings more than 25 years of
developing, training and leading accounting departments to the table. He is an
executive management professional with more than 30 years of accounting,
financial, treasury, human resource, risk management, operational, and team
building & leadership experience in small to large multi-national organizations.
During his employment, he has improved the financial condition of each
previous employer in his first full year of employment over the year prior to
his employment. Rich has developed, implemented and monitored cost control
systems that saved more than $7 million in one year on a budget of $15 million.
He also created and put into place a job cost system that allowed his company to
more accurately estimate project costs, thus increasing the ability to price new
potential projects and increasing pre-tax profit by more than 32%.

James R. Lapp
Jim Lapp is the Marketing Specialist at
Donnelly-Boland and Associates. He was hired in October 2008, to
assist with marketing and development of our firm. Jim’s experience
comes from 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. Jim
was an administrative specialist for 15 years but moved into public
relations for the last five years of service, gaining experience in
journalism, media relations and community relations.
Upon leaving the service, Jim worked for the 84 Lumber Company as
an account manager, gaining experience in marketing, development and
sales. He developed relationships with sales representatives and
project managers within 37 states by creating and sending marketing
materials.
Jim holds an A.S. degree in Administrative Management from the
Community College of the Air Force and has a wide range of Air Force
training and experience in leadership, journalism, media and
community relations, communication and information management.

Susan E. Levi, CPA
Susan Levi is the Chief Financial Officer for
Donnelly-Boland and Associates (DBA) and brings more than 15 years of experience
in the financial accounting and operations of small businesses, nonprofits and
government agencies, with expertise in grants management. Susan holds a B. S.
degree in Accounting from Saint Vincent College and is a member of Pennsylvania
Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to joining the firm in 1999, she was the controller for an
international importer for five years. Susan began her career at KPMG LLP, the
international accounting and consulting firm, where she provided audit services
for businesses in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, nonprofits
and financial institutions.
As CFO for DBA, Susan maintains client service responsibilities that include
fully outsourced finance functions for two human service corporations,
accounting and tax services for a variety of clients and general business
consulting assignments. Susan is also responsible for managing an 11-person
accounting staff.

 Jason A. Maxwell
Jason Maxwell is an Assistant Controller
at Donnelly-Boland and Associates. He earned the confidence of
management by accepting responsibilities for numerous accounting
functions within our firm. As a result, Jason developed proficiency
with numerous software applications, including QuickBooks and
Microsoft Office programs.
Since September 2007, Jason performed several integral functions
for DBA to include monthly closings for clients. These closings
include account reconciliations, journal entries and allocations. He
also does bookkeeping and reconciliations of 401K plans for DBA,
Human Services Administration Organization and the Alliance for
Infants and Toddlers.
Prior to joining DBA, Jason was a project liaison at the Lower
Burrell Public Works, where he analyzed public improvement projects
for redevelopment, accounted for site materials, managed job work
flow and ensured safety protocol. Jason holds a B.S. degree in
Accounting from Saint Vincent College and is attending Robert Morris
University for his master’s degree, which he is expected to complete
in 2010.

Sean A. Molyneaux
 Sean
Molyneaux, Assistant Controller, provides a variety of services to the
Donnelly-Boland clients and brings veteran qualities to the table. He earned the
confidence of management by accepting and fulfilling responsibilities for
numerous accounting functions within our firm. Sean is a certified QuickBooks
Advanced Pro Advisor and a VITA certified tax preparer. He also earned
certification on QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions V9.
Sean is in charge of accounts payable and invoicing for several of the firm’s
clients and is capable of performing reconciliations, allocations and any other
closing activities. He also has taken on oversight of these functions for
several companies. Sean is currently pursuing his MBA degree at Robert Morris
University.

 William J. Murtaugh
Bill Murtaugh is an accomplished Controller Operations at
Donnelly‑Boland and Associates with experience that spans more than 35 years.
Bill’s areas of expertise include timely financial reporting and keen analytical
abilities developed in the manufacturing, service and health industries. He
received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University
and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Bill worked for major corporations such as ALCOA and Black Box and offers an
impeccable eye for excellence, providing accurate monthly financial reports and
analysis for a variety of the firm’s clients. Bill actively provides audit
support for larger clients and manages preparation of annual budgets.

James
T. Scherich, CPA
Jamie Scherich combines strong accounting and computer
backgrounds in his role as Controller, Client Services, at Donnelly-Boland and
Associates (DBA). Jamie is also the Branch Manager of the Glassport office. He
holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is a
certified QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor.
Prior to joining DBA, Jamie worked for an accounting and consulting firm,
where his assignments required significant experience with accounting software
and a strong ability to train software users.
Jamie is actively involved in the firm’s transition management engagements at
The Kingsley Association and Bethlehem Haven. He runs the Glassport tax office
by meeting with clients, managing staff, preparing taxes, consulting, and
various projects for clients. Jamie also prepares the monthly closings and
financial statements for The Alliance for Infants and Toddlers. He also provides
complete outsourcing of accounting functions for The Program for Offenders.

Mary C. Soroka
Mary Soroka is the Chief Operating Officer of
Donnelly-Boland and Associates (DBA). She worked directly for, or as a
consultant to, governments and government-funded organizations during a career
that spanned nearly 26 years. Mary received a B.S. degree in Accounting from
Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an M.S. degree in Taxation from Robert
Morris College.
During consulting assignments, she gained hands-on knowledge of the
accounting software, account and agency structures and lead training and
development processes towards improvement and efficiency. With her vast
knowledge of accounting systems, she plays an integral part in system analysis,
redesign and improvement for DBA and many consulting clients. She assisted
clients in the wake of resignations and other staffing gaps, by quickly learning
systems, training existing staff and recruiting replacements.
Prior to joining DBA, Mary worked with the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh as the
Director of the Subsidized Child Care Division, and with the Allegheny County
Controller’s Office, rising to the rank of Manager of Accounting Systems. She
had responsibility for the operational and systems aspects of the accounting
function in each of these positions.

Michael
C. Wilson,
CPA
Mike Wilson is a Senior Consultant for Donnelly-Boland and Associates
and Branch Manager of our Waynesburg office. Mike
specializes in assessing accounting, financial reporting and internal control
processes for clients, and has significant experience with corporate and
individual income tax preparation. He earned a B.S. degree in Business
Administration from West Virginia University and an M.S. degree in Accounting
from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) with a concentration in
taxation and governmental accounting.
After a number of years with the international accounting and
consulting firm, Deloitte and Touche LLP, he spent several years with Highmark
Blue Cross Blue Shield and PTC Alliance, where he was involved with financial
accounting and reporting and corporate taxation. Mike also served as an audit
and tax manager with a local CPA office, where his clients were from sectors
such as school districts, nonprofits, construction companies and health care
organizations.
His experience in both public and
private accounting enables him to easily understand a client’s individual needs
and to develop a customized approach that meets those needs.
